    Jethro Grassie, a Monero developer and respected community member, explains his recent posts dispelling the FUD (often spread by well known Bitcoin Core developers) regarding Monero's "perfectly hiding and computationally binding" nature. What has been described as a flaw, is actual a sound architecture choice that comes with more Pros than Cons. Bottom line: Monero is susceptible to undetected inflation just as much as Bitcoin is susceptible to private keys being decoded from public keys.
